Not your average Garden Nursery

We supply a wide range of plants to the Landscaping Industry

the beginning...

Almost since its inception CapeScapes has grown many of the plants for its contracts.  In 2001 this snowballed when the head office moved to Tierfontein which is 10km outside of Malmesbury and started production on the 13 hectare farm.

I declare this world is so beautiful that I can hardly believe it exists

Unseen beauty

At the moment the nursery spans approximately 6 hectares of the 13 hectares available where we grow everything from seedlings to 1000l trees. We provide plants for Landscapers and the general public.

Our plants are grown tough

Our Plants and Trees are particularly “hardy” as the farm is not protected from the very strong South East winds. Combined with the extreme heat that we experience in Malmesbury (40˚C+) our plants are conditioned to last.

Plant species grown are majority indigenous, and those species which can be planted out into landscapes or private gardens and can survive our weather conditions.

The Plants we grow

6 pack perennials
2kg and 4kg groundcovers
4kg, 10kg, 20kg, and 50kg shrubs
20kg, 50kg, 100kg, 200kg, 400kg, 1000kg and even larger ex open ground trees.

– Ralph Waldo Emerson

The air smells sweeter

Whether you call it nature travel, sustainable travel or responsible ecotourism, there’s something incredibly potent, powerful, and cleansing about getting away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
